- Cheer routines: 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes 30 seconds. All Star Prep: maximum 2 minutes. Novice: maximum 1 minute 30 seconds.
- Group stunts: 4–5 athletes, maximum 1 minute 15 seconds. Partner stunts: 2 athletes and a spotter. Spotters may be used.
- Dance: 5–36 athletes, depending on division; routines from 1 minute 45 seconds to 2 minutes 15 seconds.
- Solos, duos and trios: maximum 1 minute 15 seconds, with no minimum.
- Season ages are based on age as of 31 December 2026, or year of birth for international divisions.
Division splits & crossovers
Divisions 1–4 split into Small and Large when there are more than 7 teams in a division. Small teams have 7–16 athletes; Large teams have 17 or more.
Divisions may be merged under IASF rules, including all girl and coed, or IASF and All Star Elite divisions at the same level. Clubs will be informed with the latest running order.
Crossovers are permitted into a different division, but athletes cannot compete against themselves. An athlete may enter multiple disciplines; crossovers may miss their warm-up.
Crossovers between All Star and Prep/Novice are not permitted. Prep/Novice athletes cannot cross to Elite/International divisions.
Cancellations & division changes
Teams can withdraw up to and including the on-time deadline, 5 February 2027. No refunds are processed after that date.
Division change requests must be made in writing by email before the first running order is released. Requests must follow all rules and require written confirmation. Teams cannot switch divisions after the first draft running order is released.
Substitutions & mid-routine injury
Substitutions are allowed once applicable fees and release forms are completed. Roster changes can be sent by email. Injury substitutions on the day must still comply with all rules.
Following a mid-routine injury, the routine will be stopped and offered a later rerun. Scoring resumes from the point of injury. All elements must be performed, with no marking except for the injured group.
